1st Day

We had a good day. It was beautiful weather even a bit hot in places. This is the bike that I am riding for now. It is a Supercycle 12 speed ladies bike. It arrived this am so we went to work. Changed a tire & tube, etc. I raised the seat & handle bars as high as they would go but not high enough. I set Russell Smith to find a longer seat post after an hour of riding. So at lunch we switched it. That extra inch or so sure made a difference. The bike is heavier than I am used to and is harder to ride up steep hills but it is safe!

So we went 94 KM in 5 hrs of actual riding, 7 hrs on the road.

Lisa joined us tonight to ride the next 2 days. She cycles a lot so I am sure us 2 men will have a hard time keeping up.

Thanks for praying. It is suppose to rain tomorrow.

Gary
