It was a great opportunity for the kids to see what Gary really goes through when he cycles 100 km in one day as we 'chased' him and Neil today. Thanks to those who were praying for a peaceful trip with the kids. Spending those 7 hours together in the van could have been tense, but we had a great time, very lighthearted with lots of laughs and travel games. If you knew our family on a daily basis, you would know this could only be a "God Thing".
It was so hot today. Gary thought it might have been the hottest he has ever biked in. They had to break at least every hour so that they could sit or lay down in the shade.
